Why Do We Need the Old Testament? 102A

Throughout this course we will teach and utilize the Inductive method of study to engage scripture. Each week we will focus on a particular aspect of the Old Testament, comparing it with the surrounding Ancient Near Eastern cultures and nations. Lastly, we will look at how it is fulfilled through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus.

By the end of this course, each student will have a working understanding of the major aspects of the Old Testament, it’s importance when understanding and interpreting New Testament passages, and it’s current relevance for their personal Biblical studies. Most importantly, we hope that all students will develop a passion and love for diving into God’s Word.
